Healthy food is becoming harder to afford, and hunger affects people of all ages.
Help fight hunger in North Texas with us at our
4th Annual Families Feeding Families Food Drive!

Our Goals
Did you know that the DFW metroplex has the highest rate of hunger in Texas and ranks third in the nation? Right here in North Texas, an estimated 744,340 people are facing food insecurity, meaning they are unsure of where their next nutritious meal will come from. To put that in perspective, that’s enough people to fill AT&T Stadium more than nine times! Even more heartbreaking, one-third of them are children.
We believe that is simply unacceptable.
That’s why the Miller and Morris families are once again partnering with the North Texas Food Bank for the 4th Annual Families Feeding Families food and fund drive, taking place on September 26. This year’s drive will directly benefit NTFB’s feeding programs for children to help ensure our youngest neighbors don’t go hungry.
With need at an all-time high, we are asking for your generous support to help us raise $100,000. Your donations will help provide 300,000 healthy meals for children in North Texas, and mark a major milestone: over 1 million meals provided through Families Feeding Families since its inception.
This is also a great opportunity to teach your children or grandchildren the value of giving back and helping others in need. Please share this page with your friends. Together, we are creating a better tomorrow for our community.

Thanks to your generous support of the Families Feeding Families food and fund drive over the past three years, together we’ve helped provide more than 764,000 nutritious meals to children and families
facing hunger. That’s an incredible achievement, but the need is still great!
Families across North Texas are continuing to struggle. Rising costs of living have made it even harder for many to afford basic necessities. Groceries alone have increased by 22% over the past five years, putting an even greater strain on household budgets.
Alarmingly, nearly half of food-insecure individuals in North Texas live above the SNAP threshold — meaning they don’t qualify for federal food assistance but still can’t make ends meet. This gap leaves many hardworking families in urgent need of support.
That’s why your help matters now more than ever.
The North Texas Food Bank’s child feeding programs play a vital role in serving our most vulnerable neighbors. With 1 in 5 children in North Texas experiencing hunger, ensuring they have access to healthy, consistent meals is essential.
The NTFB partners with more than 500 food pantries and community organizations to distribute food through a diverse feeding network. Our in person canned food drive will benefit children specifically
through the NTFB’s feeding children programs.
